Recruiting a research assistant!

Opportunities to research sleep, cognition, schizophrenia, and healthy brain aging across development!

Requirements: Applicant must hold a B.A. or B.S. in psychology, neuroscience, or related basic science field.  Prior work experience is preferred, but not required.

Recruiting a postdoctoral fellow!

We seek an enthusiastic and motivated post-doctoral fellow to conduct preclinical research funded by the NIH.

Project Goals: The aims of our project are designed to investigate the interplay between tryptophan metabolism via the kynurenine pathway, sleep and cognition in rodents. Experimental work will encompass mainly biochemistry, pharmacology, and behavioral neuroscience (learning and memory tasks, EEG/EMG sleep recordings).

Requirements: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in neuroscience or basic science relevant to the fellowship goal. Experience working in vivo with rodents, including behavioral, electrophysiology, or biochemical studies, is preferred, but not required.

How to apply: Applicants should send a cover letter and C.V. to Dr. Ana Pocivavsek at pocivavsek.lab@gmail.com.
